THE OFFERING
The ALLY Energy Leader Academy is accelerating the adoption of the skills to thrive in an ever-changing environment. Our Academy is the first of its kind and offers leaders and their organizations the tools they need to be successful to work together to drive an equitable and sustainable energy future.
The Energy Leader Academy is for our corporate members to nominate leaders and is available to others on a space-available basis.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

The DEI Leader Credential is our flagship inclusive leadership program that covers the tenets of bias, inclusive culture, talent development and acquisition, and building a plan for change and sustainability. The credential program also leverages and platform of fresh content and insights to help companies create evergreen action plans. Course content includes perspectives from industry leaders and includes a network for sustainable change.
Audience: Leaders of people in business units and functions.
Approach & Time Commitment : Cohort-based learning. Four workshops and leadership coaching. Starts in late March ends in September. (14 hours) + optional social networking in August and December. (2 hours)
Note: Graduation is in October with a digital badge and certificate on your ALLY profile.

The ERG Leader Credential is for influencers and leaders inside companies and external to the industry. In this program, we cover best practices for ERG/BRGs, vision, strategy, and governance. We also help equip leaders to be allies for other groups, how to engage and activate members, and secure sponsorship and support. The program also provides goal setting, leading resilient and high-performance teams, and offers a roadmap for becoming an energy industry champion. The credential program also leverages the ALLY platform of fresh content and insights to help companies create evergreen action plans.
Audience: Leaders of energy industry networks, affinity groups, ERGs, BRGs or those looking to start a program.
Approach & Time Commitment : Cohort-based learning. Four workshops and leadership coaching. Starts in late March ends in September. (16 hours) + optional social networking in August and December. (2 hours)

The ESG Leader Credential will cover the fundamental concepts and terminology associated with Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG). The evolution of climate change and ESG will be reviewed in terms of policies and metrics. The critical need commodities (agricultural, energy, and minerals, and metals) are studied to support more realistic views and opinions on climate change and ESG. An overarching goal is that students completing the course will have a sound understanding of ESG related policies and standards, the measuring metrics, and the benefits and costs associated with potential future trends. It is a 3 credit graduate-level course, fully online with live components and interactive. It can be applied towards ESG in Energy graduate certificate or a master’s degree in energy.
Audience: Leaders of energy industry networks, affinity groups, ERGs, BRGs, or those looking to start a program.
Approach & Time Commitment : Cohort-based learning. Ten weeks (10) of hour-long sessions. Starts in April.

The Right Now Program will leverage the ALLY Roadmaps and platform of fresh content and insights to help companies create cultures that thrive and support working parents, caregivers and families.
People leaders, Managers, and HR leaders do you have working parents in your organization? The pandemic has shifted the way that many of us work, research has shown that 73% of working parents and caregivers need to make adjustments to their work schedule to manage family and work. An alarming number of parents and caregivers are leaving the workplace due to the added stress. The Right Now Program is about offering a way to retain these valuable employees.
