Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. Bias is holding women back in the workplace. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it harder for women to get hired and promoted and negatively impacts their day-to-day work experiences. This hurts women and makes it difficult for companies to level the playing field. We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements.

Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

Energy leaders gather to challenge bias at IWD Summit

Dr. Michael E. Webber and Johnnie Johnson join ALLY Energy on IWD.  

Dr. Webber, who is a Professor at the University of Texas and also Chief Science and Technology Officer at ENGIE, brought up how essential it is to realize that the fate of women will affect the fate of the world on the whole.  

Johnnie Johnson, who is a former NFL player and is now CEO of World Class Coaches, spoke of seven words that he encourages everyone to consider: beliefs, habits, attitudes, expectations, personalities, egos, & emotions.
