BREAK THE BIAS IN ENERGY

Seven years of celebrating women in energy
In 2015, ALLY Energy launched (formerly as Pink Petro) in honor of International Women's Day. Since then, we've celebrated women in energy and the contributions they have made to our industry as we address the goals of a NetZero future.
Since its inception, we have streamed this event to over 250,000 viewers internationally. We've hosted big names to our stage: Sheryl Sandberg, former COO of Meta and Founder and Author of Lean In, Dr. Jen Welter, the first female coach in the NFL, and Randi Zuckerberg, media entrepreneur.

Since 2015, ALLY Energy has led the energy industry in celebrating International Women's Day.
In 2022, the International Women’s Day Summit by ALLY Energy was hosted at Greentown Labs in Houston Texas.
This is a day to celebrate and inspire the next generation of Energy Superheroes and to #BreakTheBias around energy careers and possible pathways.
Energy Superheroes are women leading the energy transition from oil and gas, to the electric grid, renewables, and emerging climate technologies. Participants heard from industry leaders on how we can recruit and train the next generation of the energy workforce. ALLY Energy is scaling an inclusive workforce with technology and its new careers and skills platform to elevate industry and talent.
Meet Energy Superheroes and Trailblazers from the new book, Everyday Superheroes: Women in Energy Careers and ALLY Energy member companies who are driving the new future in energy.
We thank Chevron for generously underwriting this event as presenting sponsor. We also thank Sodexo and Kanin Energy for their support.

This year we will feature illustrators capturing the conversations around the room. At the end of the day, we'll wrap up the illustrations and submit them to be commissioned for a mural to be dedicated later in 2022.
