Ion Block Party
About this event
The Ion will host a community Block Party on Friday, May 13 from 5:30 PM to 9 PM in celebration of Houston's vibrant culture, its entrepreneurial spirit, and its burgeoning innovation ecosystem. Free to attend and open to the public, the Block Party will feature a host of family-friendly activations, including arcade games, lawn games, hands-on innovation on display from a number of startup companies, live music, and food trucks. Additionally, Houston sport team mascots will be on-hand to liven up the atmosphere and mingle with attendees. Food and drink concessions will be in abundance, and guests are encouraged to utilize ride share options or take the MetroRAIL. Other surprise elements will be revealed during the course of the event that guests will not want to miss!
